Charlestown Private Hospital    

Acted as CEO to establish a Day Hospital with 2 operating theatres with extended 23hour recovery catering to plastics & cosmetic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, dental surgery, hand surgery and general surgery.  The hospital has the latest theatre integration systems and state of the art equipment.  The total project was approximately $6M.  The hospital commenced operations in March 2011. 
Canossa Day Surgery Centre

Acted as CEO/Project Manager to establish a Day Hospital with 2 operating theatres catering to endoscopy, pain management, hand Surgery, Plastics & Cosmetic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery and general surgery.  The total project was approximately $6m.  This was a turn-key project from  establishing a feasibility study to a licenced, accredited, fully  equipped and staffed operation day hospital. The day hospital commenced operations in November 2008. 



Acted as Project manager responsible for the interests of the ARCBS in the construction and relocation from existing premises in Brisbane to a new purpose build facility in the Kelvin Grove Urban Village.  The base building cost was $65m and the ARCBS fitout contract was for $25m, the total ARCBS budget, including ancillary costs was $38m.  This was the first of the ARCBS Principal Sites to be relocated. 



Acted as CEO/Project Manager to establish Victoria’s largest Day Hospital with 5 operating theatres catering to ophthalmic and ENT procedures.  The total project was approximately $11m.  This was a turn-key project from establishing a feasibility study to handing over a licenced, accredited, fully equipped and staffed operation day hospital.




                                                   

·               Initially employed to help establish a new day surgery and progressed to Business Manger and then to CEO.  Redeveloped the facility for a number of years and then built a new 4 operating theatre complex with café and training facilities and relocated the hospital.  The total project was approx $8m.
